Ok you met someone online and you want to meet, but where?

MEET IN A PUBLIC PLACE! Make sure when you plan it out, meet in a public place with alot of people around. Why? Because first of all, it is comfortable to meet in a place with many people, and the most important of all it is safe. Meeting someone that you met at a dating site or a chat room, sometimes is not all that you would expect, unfortunately in our society we have alot of people who make online dating not pleasant.

Before you meet someone of course make sure you ask them a few questions like, do they have any criminal convictions, restraining orders against them, and other issues you might feel are important. You would be surprised how much people will say online. Of course do not ask the question like are you a criminal, ask it nicely, and creatively. Talk on the phone before you meet, this will give you alot of information about the individual, and you can get more personal questions answered.

What do you write in your profile?

Saturday, October 28th, 2006

I will get straight to the point, tell the truth in your profile, do not hide anything significant, be honest, and most importantly be yourself. I help many friends and family with their profiles, and I always tell them to use my four major points about themselves when writing out their profiles on dating sites, social networks, and blogs. I will list them again and feel free to write it down and keep it in mind the next time you are doing your prifile. Four basic profile tips:

1. Tell the truth about yourself. If you are a plumber, say that you are a plumber, dont fake it and pretend to be something else.
2. Do not hide anything significant, like if you are divorced, say it, I am divorced.
3. Be Honest. Do I need to give you an example of this, I hope not!
4. Be Yourself. Do not try to be more funnier, or try to be more liked, be yourself.

These four tips are very important when you are writing your profile. I hope this helps. Good luck.

What to do with Relationship Blog?

Friday, October 27th, 2006

During the past few months I have been really busy with consulting dating companies, and basically working on my own projects, and I have neglected my blog. I want to get back to blogging about dating sites, social networks, and relationship advice for online love seekers. I have come across a great number of new sites aimed at making online daters experiences more pleasant, from criminal background checks to love advice, and profile consultants that basically help you become more attractive to people viewing your online profiles.

I would love to hear some of your comments here, to let me know what you guys want out of my blog. This way I can focus on making your reading experience more enjoyable.
